CanaMed AI is an informational, personal health journaling and biometric self-monitoring tool. CanaMed AI is not a medical device and does not provide clinical diagnosis, medical treatment, prescription of medicines, or emergency services.
Nothing contained in the application, on our website, or generated by our companion features constitutes medical advice. Always consult your prescribing physician, registered medical cannabis specialist, or qualified healthcare professional before making any decisions about your health, treatment, or prescription regimen. In a medical emergency, immediately contact your local emergency services (such as 999 or 111 in the UK).
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CanaMed AI ("we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of:
The CanaMed AI mobile application for Android (including package com.lerox.ai.public and com.lerox.ai);
Any related documentation, content, biometric tracking features, and software services provided by CanaMed AI.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using any part of the service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the website or application.
2. Eligibility & User Age Requirement
The service is intended exclusively for adults. You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction for lawful participation in prescribed medical cannabis programmes) to use CanaMed AI.
By using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that your use of the application complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
3. Scope of Service & Prescribed Cannabis Tracking
CanaMed AI is designed to help patients privately track and monitor their wellbeing, biometric trends, nutrition, and legally prescribed medical cannabis therapy:
Informational Self-Monitoring: The app records user-entered session details (such as administration method, strain/product names, cannabinoid ratios, and subjective symptom ratings) alongside optional sensor telemetry.
Observational Correlations: Analytical features (including within-person baseline comparisons) identify observational associations between logged activities and subsequent biometric trends (such as resting heart rate, HRV, and sleep architecture). These correlations are mathematical observations and do not establish clinical causation.
No Supply or Dispensation: CanaMed AI does not supply, sell, dispense, deliver, prescribe, or broker cannabis, pharmaceutical medicines, or controlled substances of any kind.
User Autonomy & Responsibility: You retain complete responsibility for any decisions you make regarding your lifestyle, diet, wearable device usage, and adherence to medical prescriptions.
4. User Accounts, Registration & Security
CanaMed AI is built on local-first principles. Core journaling functions can be used without mandatory account registration. Where account features are enabled:
Registration: You may register an account using a verified email address to enable device registration, secure backup, and cross-device sync features powered by our backend infrastructure.
Credential Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@canamed-ai.co.uk if you discover or suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account details updated.
5. Account & Server Data Deletion Instructions
Your Right to Complete Account & Data Erasure
You have the absolute right to delete your account and all associated personal data from our servers at any time. We provide two verified methods:
In-App Self-Service Deletion: In the CanaMed AI Android application, navigate to Settings → Account / Privacy → Delete Account. Confirming this action triggers an immediate server-side procedure that permanently purges your authentication record, user profile, and associated cloud database entries.
Direct Support Deletion Request: Send an email from your registered account email to support@canamed-ai.co.uk with the subject line Account Deletion Request. Upon receipt and identity verification, all server-side records associated with your account will be permanently and irreversibly deleted.
Local On-Device Data Clearing: To wipe locally stored database records, use the "Clear All Data" function within the in-app Privacy & Data Control Center.
CanaMed AI supports direct Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity with compatible biometric hardware, including the CanaMed-Ring and CanaMed-Band:
Device Pairing & Activation: Registering and connecting a CanaMed-Ring or CanaMed-Band requires a valid activation code bound to your verified user account. Telemetry synchronization is initiated solely at the user's direction.
Consumer Sensor Tolerances: Wearable sensors (measuring optical heart rate, pulse oximetry SpO₂, skin temperature variation, accelerometer movement, and sleep stages) are consumer-grade wellness sensors. They are subject to environmental and biological tolerances and must not be used as clinical diagnostic instruments.
Therapy Hardware Telemetry: When paired with compatible thermal therapy devices via BLE, the app provides telemetry monitoring (battery status, set temperature, cycle duration) for logging purposes only. Safe operation, heating, and charging of third-party hardware remain entirely your responsibility and that of the hardware manufacturer.
7. Third-Party Integrations & Voice Companions
Google Health Connect: Integration with Health Connect requires your explicit runtime system permissions. Imported biometric metrics are processed on-device in strict compliance with Google Play Health Connect policy and our Privacy Policy.
Voice Companion & Alexa Integration: Any voice assistant or companion skill (such as Alexa integration) is provided solely as an optional convenience interface for hands-free queries. Voice endpoints are companion tools and must never be used for acute medical symptoms or emergency calls. Production availability of voice features depends on external platform certification and active service endpoints.
External AI & Cloud Processing: Where automated conversational assistance is enabled, responses are generated by algorithmic language models. Automated insights are purely informational, cannot evaluate physical health conditions, and must never replace clinical judgment.
To support ongoing development and provide users with access to vetted hardware and therapy accessories, CanaMed AI features curated product directories and external partner links:
Affiliate Disclosure: Certain links on our website and in the application may be affiliate or referral links. If you click on an endorsed partner link and complete a purchase, CanaMed AI may receive an affiliate commission or referral fee at no additional cost to you.
Editorial Independence: Partner recommendations and product listings do not constitute an endorsement of clinical efficacy, medical suitability, or safety for any particular medical condition.
Independent Third-Party Retailers: All transactions, shipping, product warranties, returns, and customer service for third-party products are handled exclusively by the third-party merchant. CanaMed AI assumes no responsibility or liability for third-party websites, goods, or services.
9. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct
You agree to use CanaMed AI only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You agree that you will NOT:
Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws governing medical cannabis or controlled substances;
Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the application or backend services (except to the extent permitted by applicable law);
Circumvent, disable, or tamper with device activation codes, authentication checks, rate limits, or security controls;
Introduce viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, or other malicious or technologically harmful code;
Scrape, crawl, spider, or harvest data from our website or application without prior written permission;
Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization;
Use the service to promote illicit trade, unprescribed drug distribution, or unlawful activities.
10. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights in the website, Android application, software, logos, trademarks, visual design, user interfaces, documentation, and proprietary algorithmic models (including the Lerox AI companion system) are owned by CanaMed AI or its licensors.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download, install, and use the application on compatible Android devices for your personal, non-commercial health tracking.
Your Data Ownership: You retain full ownership of the personal health logs, subjective session notes, and journal entries you create within the application.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
"As Is" Basis: The website, mobile application, and all content and services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses, or that biometric sensors or automated insights will meet your specific health requirements.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall CanaMed AI, its developers, affiliates, directors, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or personal injury or health complications arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the service.
13. Termination & Account Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach any provision of these Terms or engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity.
You may terminate your agreement with us at any time by ceasing all use of the website and deleting the mobile application and your account.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not remove or reduce any mandatory rights or protections you have under the law of the country where you live. You may bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or, where the law permits, in the courts of your home jurisdiction.
If you use CanaMed AI for business purposes, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update or modify these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technological updates, or legal and regulatory obligations. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
Your continued access to or use of the service following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must discontinue your use of CanaMed AI.
